In view of the worsening of the COVID-19 situation, and according to the email dated July 19, 2020 by the University’s Taskforce on Infectious Diseases advising us on work arrangements and face-to-face teaching for the week of July 20-26, 2020, I would like to remind Faculties, Departments and RPg supervisors to ensure research laboratories be operated in low-density environment if they are to remain open to RPg students and staff. Temperature should be taken for record, and mask-wearing be made compulsory in workplace / laboratories in the meantime until further notice.
We will review the arrangements closely. Please take heed of all the necessary health precaution measures as your top priority.
