I refer to the email from the Task Force on Infectious Diseases of November 23, 2020.
Given the recent increase of new local cases of COVID-19, please be reminded to strictly observe infection control measures on campus. Colleagues and students are advised to stay alert to their health condition. Anyone with fever or respiratory symptoms should not come back to the campus, and should seek medical attention as soon as possible. Please continue to maintain social distancing, and wear a mask all the time except when eating and drinking.
I would like to remind Faculties, Departments and RPg supervisors to ensure that research laboratories are operated in a low-density environment for RPg students and staff. Temperature should be taken for record and mask wearing is compulsory in workplace/laboratories in the meantime until further notice.
Please note that similar to Semester 1, flexible teaching arrangements have been made for Graduate School courses in Semester 2 as mentioned in my email of November 7, 2020 in light of the pandemic situation.
Thank you for your kind cooperation and understanding during this difficult time. Please continue to stay vigilant and healthy and take heed of all the necessary health precaution measures as your top priority.
Professor Frederick K.S. Leung
