The University of Hong Kong (HKU) is pleased to have received a generous donation of 9,000 COVID-19 rapid antigen tests. Ms Eman Liu (top left) donated 4,00 kits in her capacity as the Executive Director and CEO of Edvantage Group Holdings Limited; 4,000 kits were donated by Mr Hendrick Sin (top right), Co-founder and Vice Chairman of CMGE Technology Group Limited, Chairman of China Prosperity Capital, and President of the Internet Professional Association in Hong Kong; and 1,000 kits were donated by Ms Jenny Lawton, Principal Managing Partner, Raymedy Bio-Energy Innotech Limited. HKU’s Executive Vice-President (Administration and Finance), Mr Steve Lo (bottom), thanks the donors for their support.

The 9,000 test kits are with the Community Vaccination Centre at Loke Yew Hall, and are a timely and important addition to help support the current range of anti-epidemic measures, while also demonstrating how HKU and benevolent citizens and organisations are coming together at this critical time to safeguard the medical and healthcare needs of society.

在此疫情嚴峻之時,獲社會人士的捐助,以濟燃眉之急,一眾中心前線職員、義工及港大師生深受鼓舞。此舉充分體現了港大與社會熱心人士及機構在這個艱難時刻通力合作,攜手對抗新冠疫情,回應大眾需求。
