Guidelines on infection control measures for the workplace have been developed and disseminated to all Deans and Heads with a view to protecting employees of the University. Those engaged in tasks of higher infection risks should be provided with training and personal protective equipment (PPE) e.g. masks and protective clothing. Precautions should also be provided for those working at public counters or receptions.
In terms of work arrangements, the Human Resources Section has developed internal protocols on different levels of services to be provided by the University for different risk levels. Circulars will be sent to Deans/Heads and staff to that effect.
